Happniess
Well, the thought that Thursday had come round again scared me a little, and I realised I had no topic to discuss. As I pressed myself, and others around me, the topic of happiness eventually bounced into view.
I suppose the main question is what is happiness? And can you have true happiness in this world? I think you can, but only at the expense of neglecting other people or other things in general. No matter where you look, or where you are, there is something to feel unhappy about. Be it the ongoing war, Africa or Britain in an ever-quickening downward spiral, there’s always something to get you down.
When you do eventually get happiness though, the world is seen through a different light, you gain a whole new take on the world, on the people around you and you begin to notice little subtleties you neglected before. It’s a great feeling when it happiness, but it always comes to an end before you want it to!
Who cares about that though? As I see it, happiness is the goal in life, because we hate being down in the dumps. So, ‘always look on the bright side of life’, forget your woes, and be happy!

A very good idea for a Thursday Thought as I am momentarily spent on ideas or inspiration...congratulations on the post, I hope everyone gets the chance to check it out soon.
What is happiness? It's certainly an abstract concept and clearly something which can't be directly related to money or luck or success in life, more the result of numerous moments you can't script but remain in the thoughts forever...those bizarre or just unexpected moments can often bring you much more happiness than money or riches could do. I know this will definitely sound soppy, but I couldn't give one damn! Friends and family bring you happiness, and other material things can only add to that...
With that, I wish you all the success at school with your studies or exams...

and once again I'm intimidated into silence by such spectacular words. you just seam to steal the thoughts right out of my head and place them into words that just to perfectly explain them that I'm almost sure one of you has had a quik peek into my head.
...is it possible to talk about happiness and not sound soppy? but who cares? I mean it's not like any of us need to try to be "cool" here. just friends lookin in to see another friends opinion ...or least that's the way I've been seeing it.

. ...I guess I can't leave it at that just knowing my luck some tattle tale will say that I didn't really say my own opinion (if you didn't already notice that yourself) so here goes ...
happiness ...happiness can be found anywhere ..and yet nowhere. look at anything. anything what so ever and there will be at least two different possible ways of seeing it.
"Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

sry very much into quotes atm but why reinvent the wheel? that's what I want to say. it all just depends on what you want. if you want to be happy, then no matter what the situation it is possible.

I was soo happy to see the number of comments on the friday e-mail raise so drastically soo quickly!!! ;D but can we get one more comment? just one more? even if you've all ready written one, it doesn't matter! tell us about something you've done, something you're planning on doing, anything you like it really is a spectacular place (as you probably know) but the authors do need a bit of proof. It would of course be best if you were to just bluntly tell the one and only what a fantastic site it is but as I said you can write what ever you feel like writing, main things is that he somehow finds out how much it means to us!!

I think I know what happiness can feel like! Yes, I have the answer and I stole the answers of Smarties too...yep happiness is going to a wonderful concert with friends, going to a party the next night, with friends and watching the night fall then pass outside, with friends! Wish you all could have been there and as a special resident of this new place, I would invite you all soon to the Paddons'! It'll be ok!

On a side note to what Mr Jones said, personally I believe that happiness isn't going to a concert with friends, its being able to look back on it with fond memories

nah it's both!

Can I just say that I am very much looking forward to this week's, well today's edition of the TT as Paul's way of explaining F1 is often so coherent that I even get the gist of it! They don't call it fool-proof for nothing.
